Chris Brown – Asked To Stay 100 Yards From Another Human Being!

Chris-Brown-Stay-100-yards-from-victim

Grammy winning R&B Singer, Chris Brown has been ordered by a Washington DC court to stay another 100 yards from 20 year oldParker Isaac Adams – the man he punched outside a club last week. The decision came yesterday, after the singer’s assault charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor, on the bases that the injuries incurred by Adams were minor plus there were conflicting witness accounts of what happened.
Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, who was also charged with one count of assault, had his felony also reduced to misdemeanor on the same reasons as Brown’s. Chris had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge just vacated that order.  It’s standard in such cases to order a drug test, but that has  been cancelled.
Brown allegedly got into an argument with a man, said “I’m not down with that gay s**t, I’m into boxing,” and then punched him in the nose.
Brown however pleaded not guilty and was released without bail but has to stay 100 yards from Adams. This may remind us of his 5 years probation + 500 yards ban from his assaulted ex girlfriendRihanna in 2009 just before the Grammy Awards. Nevertheless,Brown’s probation was recently revoked and he was given an additional 1,000 hours of community service in September. A decision he vehemently blasted as ‘racist’.
There are no doubts that Brown’s recent arrest could affect his probation in the Rihanna assault case. Brown is due back in court on November 20 in Los Angeles to update a judge on his probation. Prosecutors could seek a revocation of his probation or ask a judge to impose additional penalties.
A Los Angeles criminal defense attorney, Steve Cron, said prosecutors and a judge may wait to see how the Washington case plays out before taking any action against Brown.“Just the fact that some guy says ‘he hit me’ doesn’t mean he’s in violation” of his probation, Cron said. “The potential penalties would depend on the exact wording of Brown’s sentence”, he added.
What do you think. What exactly does Chris Brown need: a drug test or anger management for a year?
