Ethiopia Announces Squad For Clash Against Nigeria



Ethiopia Coach Sewnet Bishaw has named his 22-man squad that will play against the Nigeria Super Eagles in Sunday's first leg play-off qualifying clash of the 2014 World Cup.

The East Africans will be hoping to upset the current African champions when they both clash in their first match of a two-legged play-off to qualify for Brazil.

Top striker Saladin Said is Missing from the squad, due to an injury he developed during the weekend.

Full Squad

Goalkeepers: Dereje Alemu, Jemal Tasew, Samson Assefa and Sisay Bancha.

Defenders: A. Butako, Aynalem Hailu, Birhanu Bogale, Degu Debebe, Elias Biadgelegn, Moges Tadesse, S. Bergecho, Siyoum Tesfaye and Toke James.

Midfielders: Adane Mentesenot, Asrat Megersa, Behailu Assefa, Fasika Asfaw, Medhane Tadesse, Menyahel Teshome.

Forwards: Adane Girma, Dawit Fekadu and Oumed Oukri
