Jennifer Love Hewitt is ready to pop! The Client List star celebrated her baby shower at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 12, accompanied by close family and friends. For her special day, the 34-year-old actress looked stunning in a strapless yellow dress with a ruffle at the chest line. She had her hair down in waves and was giddy to say hello to the guests, especially those that flew in for the occasion.
Hewitt was joined by around 30 guests for the big day. The guests feasted on appetizers like bruschetta and pizza and cupcakes provided by Georgetown Cupcakes. They drank champagne and even had the opportunity to mix their own scents at a scent bar.
To keep with the theme, the soon-to-be first-time mom was gifted with neutral colored presents for her bundle of joy. Some items included books, baby blankets and bath toys.
Us Weekly broke news in June that Hewitt was three months along with her first child with boyfriend and costar Brian Hallisay, 34. The couple of over a year reconnected on the set of their Lifetime series. "We're so thrilled and happy to start a family," the couple told Us in a statement at the time. That same month, the pair exclusively revealed to Us that they too were engaged.
As Hewitt's baby shower came to an end, Hallisay arrived to greet his fiancee and the rest of the group. "They hugged and kissed and he whispered in her ear," the insider added. "They joined family and friends at a table in the bar for drinks and more food."
As everyone began to trickle out, they received chocolate chip cookies in a black and white striped bag with a handwritten note from the proud dad-to-be. "Thank you for sharing in this important occasion with us. Love, Brian," he wrote.
The couple have not revealed the gender of their baby just yet, but seemed to have a wonderful afternoon celebrating in anticipation for their new arrival. Before heading home Hewitt said: "That was a great shower. So beautiful."
