Justin tweeted a message displayed on iTunes Oct. 7 that he wrote to his fans about his thought process for “Heartbreaker.”
He wrote, “It’s a song for people going through heartbreak — like I was when I wrote it. It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I’m very proud of this song and I hope it gives my fans some insight into my heart. – JB.”
“Heartbreaker” totally gives us more insight, making us see Justin and Selena’s relationship in a new light! And shockingly, he even admits to still being upset about their breakup!
Despite releasing the mature and revealing song, however – Justin and Selena don’t talk anymore.
“They both don’t talk to each other anymore. After some back and forth and second chances, the relationship is over,” a source told said EXCLUSIVELY. “They know that they will see each other again at similar functions with their careers as they are and will be cordial to each other, but a relationship between the two and even a friendship is pretty much dead in the water right now.”
Even though they don’t speak — this could possibly rekindle a reunion, or at least a conversation!

Aww! So bittersweet.
And if he thinks that it’s going to take more than a song to win Selena back, he’s been putting up more sexy shirtless selfies than ever on Twitter and Instagram! Looks like he’s trying to show Sel what she’s missing!
