Rihanna On Chris Brown’s Arrest: She Thinks He’s ‘Self-Destructing’

With Chris back in jail after allegedly assaulting a man on Oct. 27, a source close to Rihanna tells EXCLUSIVELY that she’s just glad he’s not hers to take care of anymore.

It’s times like these that Rihanna feels fortunate to have gotten out of her relationship with Chris Brown. He’s in the middle of another controversy after being arrested for felony assault on Oct. 27, and RiRi sees it as just more proof that Chris is a sinking ship.

Rihanna: Chris Brown Is ‘Self-Destructing’

“Once again she’s relieved she’s not involved,” the source says right off the bat. “She’s given up on all that drama and is so happy she’s not part of the foolishness.”
There’s no doubt that looking after Chris can be a headache — but it’s no longer a concern of Rihanna’s. Though she does still hope for the best for him, even though things aren’t looking good.
“She doesn’t want to see him without his freedom,” the source adds. “She hates to see people who are self-destructive but it looks like that is the case.”

Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Assault

Unfortunately, the source may be right. Chris was arrested early in the morning on Oct. 27 after allegedly punching a man in the face. He is being held in custody until he can make a court appearance on Oct. 28.
The alleged victim claims that Chris hurled a gay slur at him and then threw a punch, breaking his nose, according to TMZ. Chris’ camp though, claims that Chris didn’t punch anyone, and that actually they were just defending themselves after the alleged victim and his friends tried to bum-rush their way onto Chris’ tour bus.
Regardless of the truth, Chris can’t be putting himself in these kinds of situations. You can’t really blame Rihanna for feeling relieved that she’s rid of her ex.
