That sounds so unlikely!
The part of Princess Tiana in Disney's Princess & The Frogwas a highly coveted role that many big named actresses auditioned for.
But, the casting director for the movie, Jen Rudin wrote in her book Confessions of a Casting Director that Beyoncéactually expected an offer rather than auditioning for the role like everyone else!
Which doesn't sound like Bey at all! She's always so humble about everything in her life!
Jen dished on the whole audition process:
Ouch. She outed Queen Bey just like that!“Beyoncé expected an offer, but wouldn’t audition and so she didn’t get one. Tyra Banks, Jennifer Hudson wanted it. Alicia Keys auditioned three times . . . They had to sing, so we made it clear they needed sheet music. Tyra came in with a CD, but it didn’t matter because she was so pretty and nice.
It went to Anika Noni Rose, who was the most qualified.”
It definitely does not sound like something Blue Ivy's momma would do! She's one of the world's biggest popstars and even though she does sing about being a diva she totes does NOT act like one!
But even if it is true, we don't see why you wouldn't extend an offer, everyone knows that gurl can totes sing!
It doesn't matter anyway, Bey went on to play a queen in the movie Epic.
That's one step higher than a princess!
