NEW VIDEO: MARIAH CAREY – ‘THE ART OF LETTING GO’

The wait is over. After overcoming a painful injury, Mariah Carey soars once again with her new single “The Art of Letting Go,” which also serves as the title track to her upcoming album. The stirring ballad, produced by Rodney Jerkins, debuted on Monday to her 14 million Facebook fans.

“This is such a personal record to me,” said the pop diva. “I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that’s holding them back or bringing them down.Thank you for sharing this experience with me!”

“The Art of Letting Go” serves as the follow-up to the Miguel-assisted hit “#Beautiful,” which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mariah has been in the studio with Nas, Wale, Hit-Boy, Mike WiLL Made-It, and her manager Jermaine Dupri working on her first album since 2009’sMemoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
