Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Takes Longest Pause Ever Before Admitting toPurchasing Illegal Drugs

After a dramatic pause that the finest stage actor would envy, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford admitted to purchasing illegal drugs (crack cocaine, presumably) within the last two years. Facing questioning from Councilor Denzil Minan-Wong, Ford finally admiited that he had bought drugs within that time frame.
This comes a week after Ford admitted to smoking crack within the past year, adding that it could've been during one of his infamous "drunken stupors." Ford's latest admission also follows the appearance of a letter signed by 30 of the city's 44 councilors asking him to take a leave of absence:
Together we stand together to ask you to step aside and take a leave of absence to address your challenges privately, outside of the public eye. We believe that the majority of Torontonians share our view, and that city council will excuse any absences you require to address the situation with finality.
The Toronto Star reports that Ford said he's prepared for a "rumble in the jungle" over the motion. Don't go down swinging.
