Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle: Tim Krul the hero as Magpies triumph at WhiteHart Lane

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul produced a masterclass between the posts as the Magpies recorded a narrow victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
The Dutchman was in glorious form at White Hart Lane, thwarting the hosts time and time again as his side protected Loic Remy's first-half strike.
With Hugo Lloris left out by Andre Villas-Boas, Brad Friedel earnt a rare Premier League start in the Tottenham goal.
But the big American was helpless to stop Remy breaking the deadlock on 13 minutes. The Frenchman ran onto a fine pass from countryman Yoan Gouffran, rounded Friedel and tucked into the empty net.
The home side burst into life in the second half but were unable to find a way past the brilliant Krul, who denied Christian Eriksen, Sandro and Paulinho to give Newcastle their second impressive win in a week.
