On Sunday night the twerking megastar, who just celebrated her 21st birthday, took to the stage at the American Music Awards in front of a very cute, tongue-wagging, lip-syncing digital kitty.
The controversial songstress, dressed in daring high-cut cat print briefs, matching tummy-baring top and some outrageously large plastic earrings closed the American Music Awards with a powerful performance of hit song Wrecking Ball - but it was the doe-eyed white and ginger winking cat that really stole the show.
The cat cried, winked, stuck its tongue out a la Miss Cyrus, and lip synced, while Miley belted out the tune to the packed out Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
At one point the former Disney star seemed to get all emo, but we were too busy looking at the cat who also shedding lots of giant tears in the background to care.
