Idris Elba doesn't mind giving away a bit too much information on social media. One of Zap2it's 100 TV stars to follow on Twitter shared a pretty surprising -- and sexual -- revelation about his love of bow ties with his Twitter followers.
"My Bow makes my d*** hard every time I smile...is that normal?" the "Luther" star tweets along with a photo of himself on his way to the Palm Springs Film Festival. He then posts another image straightening his bow tie, writing, "Had fun...releasing the beast..:) (jokes)"
The tweet had an effect that Elba didn't quite expect. Suddenly he found himself receiving an influx of Twitter followers. He followed that masterpiece (which has so far been retweeted nearly 8,000 times) with another, equally delightful tweet: “Had fun…releasing the beast…:) (jokes)” and wrapped it all up with the pièce de résistance of penis tweets:
Elba might have a love for bow ties, but he rarely shows it. The former "The Wire" star has a tendency to wear the full tie over its smaller alternative, but after this experience, fans might see him wearing those "dickie bows" with an increased frequency.
