Power Couple Indeed! David Beckham and Victoria Grab Like £100k a Day

They’re swimming in bucks, David and Victoria Beckham. The three companies that comprise the Beckham’s portfolio posted combined profits of more than £4m. Victoria's fashion range was the biggest with an increased turnover from £6.9m to £15.4m in 2012. (The Mirror)
Having shed her Spice Girl vibe – something she threatened to regain by re-joining them for the Olympics closing ceremony – Posh Spice, as she used to be known, has become a major player in the fashion world.
She was awarded the Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2011 after she broke into the scene back in 2008 with a hugely popular collection gracing the N.Y.C catwalks.
Footwork Productions – the sister company in charge of Beckham’s ‘brand’ - grossed £16.5m via endorsements and sponsorships, coming second to Victoria’s fashion empire. Brand Beckham grossed £3.2m, totting up their combined turnover to £35.1m.
It should come as no surprise that despite both of the Beckham’s ending the careers that made them famous, they’re earning more money than they ever have. Beckham was one of the better paid footballers in the world in his prime, but his earnings would never supersede the money he made from his global brand.
And their earnings find their way into other people’s pockets, too. Neither of them have been embroiled in a tax evasion controversy, like many greedy high-earners are. What’s more; David was recently awarded at the Global Gift Gala in Paris, for his philanthropic work with the Malaria No More UK Leadership Council, UNICEF and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
