Supermodel Naomi Campbell didn’t have much to say about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Vogue over – but her peals of laughtersaid everything.
While appearing on Australia’s The Morning Show on Tuesday, The Face judge, 43, was asked to comment on the cover of the prestigious Anna Wintour -helmed fashion bible.
The five-time US Vogue cover girl briefly hesitated and added: “I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years, and when you get a Vogue cover, it’s a build in your career…. a stepping stone to achieve that.”
“Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover of Vogue?” one host asked Campbell.
She simply responded, “Those are your words — not mine. I’m being politically correct.”
As we previously reported, Kardashian’s long-awaited debut on the cover of the high-class journal had fellow celebs and social media posters abuzz with criticism for the Vogue editor for putting the starlet, who shot to fame via a sex tape, in the fashion magazine.
On the cover, Kardashian, 33, dons a strapless light-colored gown that looks remarkably like a wedding dress. Her dark hair is swept into a chic, slick updo, and her massive engagement ring is on full display. West, 36, stands behind her in a suit, his chin resting affectionately on her shoulder.
What do you think about the Vogue cover?
