In a new interview with Glamour, Rihanna, 25, opens up about her desire to one day have children. But for that to happen, well, she’s got to find a man first!
“One day I will have kids,” she tells the publication, on newsstands Oct. 8. “I look forward to the day when I’m gonna be a mom. But I’m nowhere close. I don’t even have a potential baby daddy!”
Rihanna seems sad that it didn’t work out between her and her first love, Chris, but we’re sure there are countless men out there who would love to start a family with her! Of course, she’s not waiting for just any man to be the father of her children — she’s waiting for Mr. Right! Good for her!
Rihanna Wanted To Take Relationship With Chris Brown To The Next Level
HollywoodLife.com was the first to EXCLUSIVELY report that Rihanna wanted to kick her relationship with Chris, 24, up a notch, but the two didn’t see eye-to-eye.
A source close to the former couple told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Rihanna told Chris she wanted to start a family with him one day, but his reaction shocked her and broke her heart!
“She told him she loved him and could see herself starting a family with him in the future,” the source revealed. “She wasn’t talking like right now.”
Shortly after Rihanna poured her heart out to Chris, he went on The Kyle & Jackie O radio show May 5, and said he wasn’t focused on “wifing” Rihanna. This, we’re told, was the last straw for her.
“When my girl tell you she loves you and wants to be serious with you and start a real life with you and maybe even have your baby in the future, you turn her down, and then put her on blast on a radio show,” the source told us. “That’s all bad. Like game over.”
Chris definitely didn’t handle that in the best way, but both he and Rihanna are still very young. They have plenty of time to start a family — and who knows — maybe it will still be together!
