A new study confirms what we’ve all suspected for years: Women are better than men at multitasking. A team of British psychologists had men and women take a computer test that involved rapidly switching between tasks. When they were able to approach the tasks one at a time, men and women were equally capable. When they had to switch between tasks very quickly, both groups slowed down and made mistakes, but men were significantly worse, taking 77 percent longer. Women were only 69 percent slower. Women were also better at staying organized under pressure. Researchers say this could be putting men at a disadvantage in the workplace, where multitasking is becoming more important every day. — By Nick Mangione [Source]
