It's always a damn shame when the law has to sort of family arguments, but it's kind of ridiculous when the dispute is over Christmas tree decorations.
Early this morning, authorities in Spartanburg, S.C. were called to a home after reports of a fight involving three women—ages 76, 61 and 24—over how the family Christmas tree should be decorated. At the root of the conflict was the fact that two of the women had decorated the tree while the other was at work. Christmas is that serious.
When a male relative arrived at the residence, he failed miserably at attempting to calm the situation. Each family member confessed to "pushing each other and getting in [each other's] faces." No one was injured, and because no one wanted to press charges, there were no arrests.
Family members were seen hugging and apologizing to one another when the deputy left the home around 1:30 a.m. with a story to tell.
