Beyoncé had Jay Z stand guard outside the door while she used a public rest room.

The 'Halo' singer's husband made sure she could use the toilet facilities at Hollywood vegan restaurant Crossroads in peace last week and stopped anyone from entering until his wife had finished.

It seems the 44-year-old rapper's chivalrous gesture didn't go down well with other diners who had to queue until Beyoncé was done.

An insider told Daily Star Newspaper: "Halfway through their meal Jay got up and asked a waitress to check if anyone was currently in the bathroom.

"Once they had established the rest room was empty, Beyoncé scurried inside while he stood guard over the door.

"When a couple of customers tried to go in, he politely asked them if they'd mind waiting until his wife was done. Some customers were a bit miffed, but Beyoncé was also embarrassed when she came out."

Apparently, Justine Sacco, the former communications director at Barry Diller’s media company, IAC, who wrote ‘the tweet heard around the world’ while en route to South Africa; and found it had gone viral by the time she landed, has released a profuse apology that was obtained by ABC News.

With an admission that she had been “cavalier” about the AIDS crisis, Sacco explained that South Africa “is my father’s country” and that she, too, was born there.

Words cannot express how sorry I am, and how necessary it is for me to apologize to the people of South Africa, who I have offended due to a needless and careless tweet. There is an AIDS crisis taking place in this country, that we read about in America, but do not live with or face on a continuous basis. Unfortunately, it is terribly easy to be cavalier about an epidemic that one has never witnessed firsthand.

Simon Cowell's Dream 'X Factor' Judge Is Miley Cyrus

The X Factor will wrap its third season in the U.S. this week, and despite a drop in ratings, its finalists are dominating the iTunes charts and racking up significant YouTube views.

“I pray at night for iTunes and YouTube,” X Factor judge and mentor Simon Cowell told Mashable. “It’s a record labels’s dream for songs and video clips to take off online. It's expediting everything we do in the industry."

This is a trend that's been emerging in the reality TV singing competition space, partially thanks to iTunes sales counting as votes for contestants X Factor and The Voice. So though some TV viewers are tuning out, many others are advocating for (or discovering) performers via Twitter and YouTube as well as emptying their digital wallets to buy songs iTunes.

Kanye West has already designed the entire men's collection for adidas. In an interview with Chicago's Morning Riot, Ye talked about how he went to Germany to meet with adidas and churned out the debut men' line, women's line, and 20 different shoes. 

"I just got back from Germany. It was one of the greatest creative days of my life. We designed the entire women's collection. We designed the entire men's collection. And we designed 20 shoes. We coming in September and it’s about to be a paradigm shift."

The singer admitted during a question-and-answer session that before the album’s release, “I was terrified. I was so scared. I already envisioned like the worst things that could happen… I was really nervous because this was a huge risk.”

Crazy! Man Kills Baby For Crying During Football Game (DETAILS)

A 22-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly killed a 5-month-old baby for crying during a football game.

Tre’viance Markese Walker of Oklahoma is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend’s son, who has been identified only as “J.B.”

An affidavit states that J.B. died of head injuries he received on December 7 under Walker’s care at the man’s home in Norman. Walker allegedly told police that he was watching at the University of Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State football game on TV when J.B. started crying, and Walker responded by picking up the infant so aggressively that J.B.’s head “snapped back.”

Well, Amazon.com has joined them!
The company will be selling the electronic MP3 version ofBeyoncé , but not the actual CD. Also, you’re going to have to search for it in Amazon’s system because they’re not advertising it.
Seems like a silly way to make money, no?
However, independent users on Amazon are selling the CD, so you CAN still get it there.
This seems to be a bigger issue than just Queen Bey’s album though; it has to do with Sony Music Entertainment.

Chris Brown has managed to stay out of jail because of the progress he’s making in rehab, and he’s ready to take the next step.
The Malibu facility that he’s being treated for anger management at has allowed the 24-year-old singer to leave for three hours on Sunday, from 1pm-4pm, for a celebrity toy drive on Melrose Avenue.
They feel that it will be good for Chris's treatment, but that’s all that he’s allowed to do.
Breezy will only have enough time to get to the event, then back to Malibu -- not pit stops allowed!
AND he’ll be drug tested when he returns.
If he violates any of these rules, then Chris will be kicked to the curb!

President Obama Talks About His Daughters’ Dating Lives

President Obama sat down with Steve Harvey at the White House recently for, in our opinion, one of the best interviews he’s done in awhile. Amongst the topics discussed, his daughters, Sasha and Malia, and their dating lives made for some of his best quotes.

Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, are “very sensible,” Obama said in the interview that aired on Friday.

“And the second thing is, I’ve got men with guns following them around all the time. This is the main reason I ran for re-election. You know I’m going to have them covered for most of high school…They’re doing great, but they grow up so fast.” 

Obama said he worries about “getting in the way of the girls just having a normal life” and said he has taught them to make good decisions about relationships.

While visiting the Power 106 radio station in Los Angeles earlier this week, pop superstar Justin Bieber announced his retirement from music. Whether or not this is actually true, the singer also revealed some more news that was overshadowed by the aforementioned announcement. Justin said that he is still in love with his ex-girlfriend, actress and singer Selena Gomez.

Though Bieber might have dropped the retirement bombshell on the show, he was really there to promote his new single "All That Matters." When asked about the backstory of the song, he admitted that it was about Gomez and their relationship.

One Direction accepts NRJ Music Award for 'Best Song Ever,' gets booedby unruly French audience members (Twitter Reacts)

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne were all in attendance this week when they accepted their award for "Best International Group and Video" at France's NRJ Music Awards. Held at he Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, the boys of One Direction walked on stage to accept the trophy, but were greeted by booing audience members. One Direction was booed!

The video could actually pass for "better," when you compare it Miley's recent and ongoing twerking behaviors, but then the camera dips a little low and -- oops! is that a nipple we see there? Because ugh, of course it is.

Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade Engaged -- See the Ring!

Now that's a rock!

Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade are engaged after the Miami Heat player popped the question on Saturday night -- and she said "Yes."
And taking a look at that ring, we don't blame her. According to Us Weekly, Wade proposed with an 8.5 carat sparkler from Jason of Beverly Hills.

This will be the second marriage for both Union, 40, and Wade, 31. The two have been dating since 2009.
Earlier this year, the two hinted at tying the knot by sent out Christmas cards from the "Wade-Union Family," showing Gabrielle, Dwayne, his two sons and the nephew he's raising.

BIG SEAN TALKS ENGAGEMENT, BEYONCÉ, & HOLIDAY PLANS

Big Sean got engaged, released his second album, and unleashed one of the biggest rap records of the year, “Control,” in 2013. As the year comes to a close, Rap-Up TV caught up with the Detroit rapper (and his mascot Rico the Lion) at Power 106′s Cali Christmas to discuss his personal and professional life.

“The boy’s growing up,” said Sean, who is engaged to “Glee” star Naya Rivera.

He revealed that the couple has set a wedding date, but stopped short of saying when they would walk down the aisle.

Plus, he shared his thoughts on Beyoncé’s surprise album and the follow-up toHall of Fame.

After a busy year, he plans to take some time off for the holidays. In addition to donating toys to children in Detroit, he will spend Christmas with his fiancée and family.
