"They are both winners, two people who consider their clubs the best in the world and always want to assert authority over others," Tevez said. "For Ferguson, United was the most important thing that had to be defended at all costs, for Conte it's Juventus.
"People like these push you to give that little bit more because they are the first to truly believe in what they are doing. Conte has got to stay here. I'd be the first to stop him. He's a great coach who would do well anywhere. He would have no problems in England or France, but that can wait three or four years."
Not only has Tevez's rapport with Conte helped him settle in Turin, but he now admits to being happier than he has in a long time, and is inspired by the dressing-room atmosphere. "I feel like I am back home again," Tevez said. "Far more than I ever did in Manchester. Yes, I really feel good in this squad."
