Justin Bieber was in for a rude awakening when police raided his house on Tuesday morning. During the incident, Lil Za was reportedly arrested for felony drug possession.
Eleven patrol cars arrived at the pop star’s Calabasas mansion as part of a felony vandalism
investigation. They searched the property looking for any evidence in the egg attack.
Bieber is accusing of causing $20,000 in damage to his neighbor’s house after an egg-throwing incident last Thursday. The neighbor videotaped the 19-year-old in the act and sent the footage to TMZ.
Rapper Lil Za, who once lived at Bieber’s house, was arrested for felony drug possession, according to TMZ. A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. confirmed the arrest and said that cocaine was “in plain view” during the raid. Officials say Bieber was “not connected” to the cocaine.
Bieber’s friend Maejor Ali denied the reports, tweeting, “Za wasn’t arrested for drugs don’t believe the media.”
During the raid, police dismantled Bieber’s security system and took it as evidence.
UPDATE: TMZ reports that the drugs in Lil Za’s possession were not cocaine, but rather molly and Xanax.
