Los Angeles – Clint Eastwood’s estranged wife has filed for divorce.
Dina Eastwood, who recently requested that her petition for a legal separation from the Oscar-winning actor and director be dismissed, filed court documents to legally dissolve their 17-year marriage in Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, California, on Monday.
The former news reporter cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and is seeking physical custody of their daughter, Morgan 16, according to People.com.
She has also requested spousal support and her attorney fees be paid by the 83-year-old star.
Dina was recently overheard saying their split was “unreal and heart-breaking” and allegedly admitted she still loves the Gran Torino star.
The 48 year old first revealed in August that she and Clint amicably separated last year after 17 years of marriage.
She initially insisted they were still good friends, writing on Twitter: “I don’t like reading negative things about Clint. He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that.”
But she later confessed she was very upset after seeing pictures of the Gran Torino star on a date with Erica, even though she is reportedly dating Erica’s ex-husband Scott Fisher.
She said: “I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms Tomlinson-Fisher. I look forward to new beginnings.”
