Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have sparked rumours they're dating after the pair were spotted on holiday together in Hawaii over the New Year break and then leaving the actress' Hollywood home on January 2.
The 38 year-old blonde was spotted with the actor in the Waikki area of Oahu on December 30, according to E!News, where they were with a group of friends to ring in the New Year. Both stars then returned to Los Angeles on New Year's Day. Charlize and Sean were then spotted together on January 2 at the blonde's Hollywood Hills home.
Penn can be seen (pic. below) leaving the property in a black pick up truck, while Theron follows in her Lexus. Whilst hanging out together doesn't mean they're dating as two of the hottest, single stars in Hollywood it's inevitably going to start rumours.
Theron and Penn have known each other for years and both won Oscars for lead actor in their respective categories in 2003, Sean for Mystic River and the South African actress for Monster.
Theron previously had a nine year relationship with Mad Max: Fury Road star Stuart Townsend, which ended in 2010. Since then her main man has been adopted son Jackson, and though she's been linked to several leading Hollywood stars appears to have been mainly single over the last few years
She was linked last year to Seth McFarlane, however insiders insisted at the time they were just "friends" according to E!News.
