We're guessing this pooch just earned himself a whole bunch of doggy treats!!
Due to her allergies, Diane Papazian was always hesitant when it came to adopting a puppy! But when push came to shover, her husband Harry was finally able to convince her to adopt a 4-month-old Doberman Pinscher, who would eventually grow up to be a show dog!!
Well little did she know that Troy would actually end up saving her life when he helped her detect a lump in her breast!!
"One night he was curled up between us in bed. He kept nuzzling up against my left side. I itched myself, and then I popped up in bed and said, 'Holy cow! What's this?'"
It turned out that the lump in her breast was malignant tumor, and she immediately went to a physician to begin breast cancer treatments.
Diane is still undergoing chemotherapy treatment, but she says she's 100% cancer-free and is feeling much better, and if it wasn't for Troy she's not sure what would have happened!!
The cancer-thwarting pup actually competed in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show earlier this month and somehow didn't walk away with a ribbon! We guess saving your owner's life doesn't earn you any extra points!
