*Organizers of a Halloween party in New York have been forced to scrap the event because embattled R&B star Chris Brown can no longer headline.
The singer was arrested following a fight outside a Washington, D.C. hotel on Sunday. He pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge and was released on bail Monday.
But the ordeal has upset plans for Breezy to lead 92.3 Now’s Halloween show tonight (Oct. 29), and organizers have now pulled the plug.
“Unfortunately, due to recent events, 92.3 Now’s Halloween show scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29 has been cancelled,” organizers stated. “Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be refunded in full.”
The gig was also supposed to mark Danity Kane’s comeback. They were billed as Brown’s opening act.
