On Friday (Dec. 13), Beyonce surprised fans with the unannounced iTunes release of her fifth, self-titled studio album. The new "visual" record features 14 fresh tracks and 17 original music videos. Fans were totally blown away... and apparently, fellow pop princess Rihanna wasn't too happy about it!
RiRi's currently climbing the Billboard charts with Eminem's hit MMLP2 single "The Monster." The official music video drops on Youtube later today:
And according to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, Rihanna thinks that Queen Bey's trying to steal her lime light! RiRi's completely "furious." A "reliable" insider tells MTO:
"Rihanna and Beyonce have always had a very cordial [relationship], but they are definitely competitors. I think Beyonce is JEALOUS of Rihanna. First, there were those Jay Z rumors, and lately people are acting like Rihanna [is] the top girl in the game... [I think] Beyonce definitely pulled a power play and let Rihanna know who the Queen is."
Woah.
Of course, Rihanna didn't take things sitting down. She allegedly called her management (who also represents Beyonce) and totally cursed them out... in typical RiRi fashion.

FYI - several celebs congratulated Bey on Twitter in regards to her epic surprise pull-off... RiRi did not.
