Last month Annie Lennox wagged her finger at Miley Cyrusfor, well, wagging her foam finger on stage while wearing not much else.
Now another pop star is speaking out about the super sexual nature of pop music -- Jessie J!
The 25-year-old pop star addressed the hot topic at rehearsals for her Royal Variety Performance earlier this week.
Jessie, of course, knows a little something about looking seXXXay on stage, so we're definitely taking her word for it.
She admitted:
"I think that pop culture moves and changes. It has its moments of greatness and its moments of weirdness... shock value and beauty... I always know that as a female artist you can't do anything until you test it. Until you test it, you don't know if it's going to work or not. I've been there and done it and thought maybe I don't want to do that again... The music industry's constantly evolving and changing. There are many artists coming through who are about vocals. That's what I'm trying to stand for... It can't go that way, not for the younger generation coming up. There needs to be a levelling, a responsibility from everyone."Shock value and beauty, eh? We wonder whether she was dissing a certain little Mileybird, LOLz!!
