A primary head has barred teachers and pupils from talking about Christmas.
Jane Porter has threatened to cut playtime privileges if children mention it before Advent begins on Sunday.
Dad Robert Dalton, 31, said: “Kids have Christmas rammed down their throats yet they can be punished for mentioning it. It’s wrong.”
Ms Porter, head of Whitehill School in Gravesend, Kent, said the meaning was lost if it was celebrated early.
She said the ban would apply to talking about anything “not related to school”.
