Selena Gomez Says She's the Girl You Take Home to Meet the Parents, NotA One Night Stand

She's just not a one night kind of gal! Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber may have allegedly been spotted in a Brazilian brothel over the weekend, but the 21-year-old songstress clearly has a different idea on what she would do during a free night out. In the December/January issue of Teen Vogue, Gomez surmises that, now that she's entered her 20s, she's "entered the decade of confusion about who I am and what I want to do with my life...that's what this entire decade's going to be [about]." 

"Part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like, forget it – I can do anything I want," the "Come and Get It" singer continues. "I've tried it, and I've never been that girl. I'm always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night."

The Texas native says still living at home with her family has been a big part of finding herself -- and of course, having a famous friend like Taylor Swift by her side hasn't hurt either.

"The difference between Taylor and me is she was 16 with the confidence of a 25-year-old. Actually, I should say 80-year-old, because she's such an old soul," the brunette beauty tells the mag. "I was not that way. I was very sheltered until about 18 or 19. I still live at home, and I'm 21! She does inspire me like crazy, but I wouldn't change my path, because it allowed me to figure out all that stuff and do it on my own."

As for as getting over a broken heart? No age could possibly make that a bit easier. "You fall in love and it completely consumes you," she says. "So a part of you is broken when that's gone."
