Prince William Scrubs Up And Observes Live Surgery For The First Time!

prince william observes live surgery for first time in medical scrubs
Prince William might not be a scrub, but that didn't stop him from rocking the uniform like McSteamy!
The Duke of Cambridge paid a visit to the Royal Marsden hospital in west London, but he wasn't just there to shake hands and pose for pictures. He was there to actually observe a LIVE surgery!!
William, who is also President of the Royal Marsden National Health Service Foundation Trust, scrubbed up and headed to the Wolfson Surgical Suite where he stood in on not one, but TWO procedures!
He first watched a breast reconstruction on a 60-year-old woman before moving on to a male patient in his 80s who was having a bladder tumor removed.

Apparently the Duke was not squeamish either, as he watched in fascination and had plenty of questions for Dr. Pardeep Kumar!
The surgeon later opened up about what it was like having royalty in the operating room, saying:
"He really had an insight into the kind of work we do. He really understood. The questions he asked were really on the money and were very insightful. For want of a better word, he did enjoy himself."
Prince William's visit comes 17 years after his motherPrincess Diana also scrubbed up and observed a surgery at Harefield Hospital in Middlesex!
No wonder he has such a knack for it!
Does this mean we'll have to start calling him the Dr. Duke of Cambridge now??
