A Sri Lankan couple have broken the record for the world's biggest wedding after walking down the aisle with a staggering 126 bridesmaids. Nisansala and Nalin tied the knot in the country's capital Colombo, sharing their big day with an additional 25 best men, 20 page boys and 23 flower girls.
The army of maids were dressed by Nisansala's sister-in-law, Champi Siriwardana, who suggested

The wedding party wore traditional embroidered costumes of purple and gold for the ceremony, held yesterday.
The huge nuptials were also attended by Sri Lanka's First Lady, Shiranthi Rajapaksa, wife of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
She said: "Breaking the Guinness world record is no mean feat and one that I cannot achieve alone.
"It is a great responsibility and challenge. There can be no mistakes."
