It’s here: we’ve gotten our first glimpse of Usher as Sugar Ray Leonard in the new movie Hands of Stone.
The ”U Got It Bad” singer can be seen rocking a huge ‘fro, his tattoos are covered and he reportedly had to drop 20 lbs for the role. But Usher wasn’t afraid to show that all his hard work has paid off.
He posted the following picture saying, “Flexin Friday in Panama. URIV”
Hands of Stone is directed by Jonathan Jacubowicz, and details the story of legendary boxer Roberto Duran and also stars Robert De Niro as Duran’s trainer, Ray Arcel.
Also kicking off in the filming department is the highly anticipated 50 Shades Of Grey. Director Dana Brunetti shared a picture from the set in Vancouver and confirmed that Seth Rogen is in the movie as well.
