Losing your job because you didn't win Employee of the Month is quite ironic.
A man in Deerfield Beach, Fla. was arrested for shooting up a co-worker's car because she beat him out for the honor at Walmart. According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, surveillance footage shows Willie Mitchell pulling up to the woman's car and opening fire. Jealousy is a motherfucker.
Investigators say that when the woman was announced as the winner, she and Mitchell began arguing about their workload. Mitchell reportedly threatened the woman, saying "I'm gonna show you" several times. He did.
What's strange is that the award is purely about store recognition; there's no prize, no cash. Mitchell must've just really hated that woman. That hate cost him his job.
