It’s been a long hard road for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odomand now, it’s finally over.
Khloe and Lamar tied the knot after just four weeks of knowing one another. Though family and friends had their doubts about the marriage lasting, Kardashian walked down the aisle and said her ‘I do’s’ in the backyard of parents Kris and Bruce Jenner’sCalabasas, California home. Khloe and Lamar quickly became the couple everyone wanted to be. They were best friends; so happy and in love – at least, they seemed to be.
Unfortunately, what we saw play out on the family’s hit reality TV series and what went on behind the closed doors of their sprawling mansion were two very different things. Lamar battled with an alleged substance abuse problem and serious depression, while Khloe struggled to be there for her man and keep their issues under lock and key.
It wasn’t long before rumors began swirling about the severity of Lamar’s addictions and potential infidelity. Things came to a head when Lamar was pulled over and arrested for suspicion of DUI after he was seen “driving in a serpentine manner.
Because they’ll always be one of our favorite Hollywood couples, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and reliving their entire relationship with this timeline of events.

On September 22, 2009, Khloe announced that she and Lamar were engaged to be married. Lamar popped the question with a gorgeous 9-carat rock!
Five days later, Khloe and Lamar tied the knot in front of 250 guests in a televised ceremony.
After seven seasons, Lamar cut ties with the Los Angeles Lakers and headed for Dallas.
That same year, Khloe and Lamar land their own spin-off from the hit E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians,allowing fans to fall in love with the happy couple.
The couple packed up their Dallas home and headed back to L.A., where Lamar continued his basketball career as an L.A. Clipper once again. Odom got his start in the NBA with the team in 1999.
Their show ended abruptly in 2012 after just two seasons, though both Khloe and Lamar continued to make appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
That June, Khloe and Lamar decided to take a major step in their relationship – the couple, who had been notoriously open about their infertility issues, made plans to begin fertility treatments.
In September 2012, Kardashian and her man celebrated three wonderful years of marriage.
Khloe and Lamar confronted divorce rumors head on for the first time in February 2013. The couple told Us Weekly, “Yes, we bicker. But we make sure to never go to bed angry.”
The following month, Khloe and Lamar welcomed their first baby! Well, sort of. The happy couple adopted an adorable boxer puppy named Bernard Hopkins, B or BHop for short.
Things were all quiet on the Kardashian-Odom front until rumors of drug addiction began swirling. In late August, sources claimed that Lamar had gotten hooked on prescription drugs, as well as cocaine.
Just days after drug abuse rumors hit the World Wide Web, Lamar was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of DUI. While no substances were found on Odom, TMZ’s sources claim Lamar’s behavior and driving were consistent with drugs.
Lamar is charged with one count of driving under the influence and dropped from the L.A. Clippers.
On the day of their fourth wedding anniversary, Khloe takes to social media to remove the Odom from her Twitter handle. The pair spend their anniversary apart.
Months pass and neither Khloe nor Lamar address the alleged cheating scandal, drug allegations or rumored divorce. On October 3, sources close to the couple told TMZ that though they had not yet taken the necessary steps, divorce was imminent for the troubled duo. That same day, Khloe was photographed shopping with her youngest sister Kylie Jenner, still sporting her wedding ring.
A few days later, Khloe reportedly booted Lamar from their Tarzana, California mansion. She then allegedly hired someone to come in and do a sweep of the property to ensure that Lamar did not leave any drugs or paraphernalia behind. Those reports came after Kardashian addressed her issues with Lamar on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
After quite some time out of the spotlight, Lamar Odom resurfaces on Instagram on October 16. Lamar’s barber, Enzo, shared a photo of a much healthier looking Odom after receiving a fresh cut. The caption suggested that Lamar was headed to the L.A. Clippers to talk with team execs about getting his spot on the team back.
Days later, Lamar is noticeably absent at the engagement of his sister-in-law Kim Kardashian; Odom addressed his absence saying, he “had something to do!” Though he would not say what it was that he was doing.
Lamar’s schedule was all clear when it came time to attend the Yeezus tour stop in L.A., though. He was seen kickin’ it with the Kardashians at the concert on the night of October 28, though sources told TMZ there was most definitely not a Khlomar reconciliation on the horizon.
November 10, just days after spending his 34th birthday with his wife and in-laws, Lamar was spotted carrying bags of clothes and personal belongings from the home he shares with Khloe. Lamar is said to have headed to a friend’s house to crash for a while.
Days later, sources claim Khloe and her man headed to counseling to work out their problems.
Just when things are looking up, video of Lamar, blatantly under the influence, surfaces showing the former L.A. Clipper rappingabout cheating on his wife. There is no date on the video, but TMZ reports that they believed it to be shot that same month.
On December 1, the Kardashian klan – sans Lamar – gathered to recount their year, give gifts to one another and show off the photo they’d be sending out to friends and family. During the hour and a half special, Khloe touches on her marital issues multiple times.
Just over a week later, Odom strikes a plea deal in his DUI case. Lamar is sentenced to three years probation.
Khloe and Lamar headed out to watch Jay Z perform his latest hits at the L.A. stop on his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour –separately. Khloe was spotted heading in to the venue sans wedding ring.
December 13, Khloe Kardashian officially filed for divorce from Lamar Odom.
