Sir Becks?

Former England football captain David Beckham is reportedly in line to receive a knighthood after being put forward for the New Year's Honours List.
Final approval is due later this month after officials have carried out standard checks - including assessing his £165 million fortune - says The Sun.

Becks, who was recently spotted at Twickenham to see England play Argentina, was given odds of 5/4 of receiving a knighthood this year.
Back in May the bookies tipped the footie legend to be knighted before 2013 is out.
If his name does appear on the Honours List it will mean he'll be given the official title of Sir, while wife Victoria will become Lady Victoria.
On Friday the 38-year-old retired footballer was left heartbroken by the death of his grandmother Peggy West, aged 83, the Sunday People can report.
Peggy, mother of Becks’ mum Sandra, had suffered a stroke but lost her fight for life in hospital during the early hours of Friday.

Palace date: Peggy with Posh and Becks as he gets OBE in 2003

Peggy, whose husband Joseph died in 2009, had lived in an East London nursing home since 2011.
She was with Becks when he received his OBE at Buckingham Palace 10 years ago.
Last year the ex-England and Manchester Utd star made a surprise visit to Peggy’s nursing home and posed for pictures with her and pals.
A source close to Becks, 38, said: “He is absolutely devastated. He and Peggy were very close.”
He said: “Becks spoke to her often. The whole family is grieving for a wonderful woman right now.”
