Just a few days old, a brother and sister shared a remarkable sense of closeness as they were being bathed in a spa sink. In a beautiful moment captured on video, the siblings hold one another close and cuddle as if they are still inside their mother’s womb!
Twins Hugging In Bath: Newborn Siblings Extend Bond Formed In Womb
From the incredible video, you can really get a visual sense of the closeness twins experience in the womb, which helps to imagine why many twin siblings experience a close connection throughout their childhood and adult lives.
The siblings in the video are clinging to each other, but appear completely calm and are being comforted by their bond. They even grasp each other’s hands, feeling for their support system.
Thalasso Baby Bath Technique
The babies were bathing by a new technique, called the Thalasso Baby Bath, which was invented by French maternity nurse Sonia Rochel, who works in Paris and posted this video to YouTube. The bathing technique features soapless bathing that is intended to be more relaxing for newborns, who are comforted by the water on their face as they are able to breathe comfortably. It was developed for babies under 2 months old, but Rochel warns that it is not to be attempted at home for safety reasons, according to Today Moms.
