Like a cold sore from hell, this just will NOT go away!
The King of Pop was taken from us over four years ago, but his wrongful death lawsuit lived on. We thought it was FINALLY over late last month when a verdict was returned and AEG was cleared of any wrongdoing, but nope!
Not so fast!
Michael Jackson's mom Katherine Jackson has filed an appeal!
The Jackson estate is contesting the jury's verdict and hopes to reopen the $40 billion lawsuit they brought against the insurance company for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray in the first place!
Apparently it's super difficult to overturn jury verdicts in a civil case, but none of that will stop mama bear from trying!
Mrs. Jackson is still heartbroken over her son's untimely death, and understandably so, but we aren't sure more time in court will help expedite the grieving process!
