Could Miley Cyrus make the cover of TIME Magazine? She could if fans have their way!
The We Can't Stop singer is currently dominating the reader poll for their annual Person Of The Year honor.
Indian leader Narendra Modi is in second place with about 13%, and NSA leaker Edward Snowden is right behind with about 12%.
Jimmy Fallon and Angelina Jolie are also on the list with around 1% each.
Time's editors ultimately decide the Person Of The Year on their own, but winning the poll is still one heck of an honor! But someone may be trying to keep that feather out of Mileybird's cap!
Two programmers claim they've figured out how to hack the poll Scandal-style to cast extra votes for Miley! But Time isn't biting. They said:
"Time and Poptip are aware of the efforts to affect the results of the Person of the Year poll, and have measures in place so that only legitimate votes are being incorporated in the final tally. We're delighted that so many people are having fun with this informal poll and contributing to the conversation."
It sounds like Miley has a legitimate lead!
And why not? After the year she's had? Go, gurl!
