In this jaw-dropping video, watch the world's longest basketball shot from a staggering 109 feet 9 inches
This is the incredible moment Harlem Globetrotters star Corey “Thunder” Law entered the Guinness World Records for the world's longest basketball shot. Law made the difficult shot 109 ft 9 in (33.45 m) away.
Under the watchful eye of an official Guinness World Record adjudicator, Law took to the US Airways Center to complete the record.
It took an hour of alternating tries by the three players before Law was able to land the historic shot.
He broke the previous record of 104 ft 7 in (31.9 m), set by former Pepperdine University player Elan Buller in 2011.
“It’s definitely an honour,” Law said. “I can’t believe I broke a record on Guinness World Records Day. A shot – 109 feet, 9 inches. Awesome!”
